A problem I have noticed with Chat.GPT is it’s problem with answering questions that have to do with personal issues or feelings. For example if I were to ask Chat.GPT How is your day to day? I will get a answer probably close to, “As an AI, I don’t have feelings in the same way humans do.” I also asked Chat.GPT what their favorite movie, color, sport, and holiday. All came back to the same answer. “Since I don’t have personal experiences or preferences like humans do, I don’t have a favorite_______.” While it can provide valuable insights, assistance, and even companionship to some extent, it’s not a substitute for human interaction when it comes to deeply personal matters or seeking empathetic responses. Image below shows my interaction with Chat.GPT

As AI continues to evolve, we are exploring ways to improve AI’s ability to understand and respond to human emotions and subjective experiences, but comprehension remains an ongoing challenge. Unlike a human, AI operates based on patterns in the data they are able to find online. While it can understand and generate text based on the patterns in that data, it lacks the ability to truly comprehend human emotions or subjective experiences.

As is would be terrifying if AI suddenly gain conscience and started acting like a human. I don’t see this happening for a while. AI is still very young and has a lot more time to grow.
